Admissions to Undergraduate Courses

A large number of students apply to Balram P.G. College for admission each year and we hope to make the process smooth and hassle-free. Students who wish to pursue undergraduate studies at Balram P.G. College can opt for any of these following courses –

    Admissions to Post-graduate Courses

    Students who wish to pursue post-graduate studies at Balram P.G. College can opt for any of these following courses –

    • Arts
      • Hindi
      • Sociology
      • Education
    • Agriculture (Hons.)
      • Horticulture
      • Extension
    • B. Ed
     

    Eligibility Criteria:
    1. Bachelor of Arts: Completed intermediate or equivalent examination
    2. Bachelor of Science: Completed intermediate or equivalent exam with Biology or Mathematics as one of his/her subjects, with minimum of 40% marks
    3. Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons.): Completed intermediate or equivalent exam with Biology or Mathematics as one of his/her subjects, with minimum of 40% marks
    4. Master of Arts: Completed graduation in Arts with any one of the subjects among Hindi, Sociology and Education from any recognised college/institute
    5. Master of Science in Agriculture (Hons.): Completed graduation in Agriculture with minimum of 50% marks from any recognised college/institute
    6. B. Ed.: Completed at least graduation in any discipline

    Following procedure shall be adopted for admission to the first year of different courses in the college:

    The candidates should fill the application forms carefully in accordance with the rules and regulations, and they should also attach copies of following documents:

    • Copies of pass-certificate and marks sheet of high school or equivalent examination.
    • Copies of pass-certificate and marks sheet of intermediate or equivalent examination.
    • Copy of marks sheet of graduation (required for admission in P. G. courses)
    • Copy of Aadhaar card (both front and back)
    • 2 recent passport-size coloured photographs
    • Admit card and scoresheet of UPBED Entrance Exam of the particular academic session for admission in B. Ed. Course
    • Transfer Certificate or Character Certificate, whichever applicable
